Biography:

British Archaeologist Ashley Halberstam was at a dig in Giza, Egypt when he was engulfed by a bolt emanating from a laboratory on New Genesis. The bolt transformed Halberstam and conferred upon him the "Power of the Pyramids," as channeled through his magical Pyramid Staff. Virtuous and heroic by nature, Halberstam fought alongside Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman against the evil machinations of Darkseid and the legions of Apokolips, eternal enemies of New Genesis.

Biography:

Red-skinned Jemm, whose forehead gem prophesied that he would be the planet’s savior, found himself exiled during the civil war between red-skinned and white-skinned Saturnians. He voyaged to Earth and had the misfortune to fall into the hands of criminal mastermind Lex Luthor, who was later defeated by the Justice League. Severly traumatized by the experience, Jemm was nursed back to health by Martian Manhunter. Eventually, with the Manhunter’s aid, Jemm ended the bloody civil war on Saturn.

Biography:

He wandered Mars’ surface for decades until he was transported to Earth by Saul Erdel’s teleportation machine. He adopted the identity of a murdered detective named John Jones. Eventually, choosing the name Martian Manhunter, J’onn became a founding member of the Justice League of America and devoted his life to the team.

Biography:

In the late 21st century, a group of aliens engineered the construction of a powerful satellite called Brother Eye in order to avert a great disaster threatening Earth. The satellite targeted an unsuspecting stock boy named Buddy Blank. He became the One Man Army Corps, or OMAC. After years of battling any and all threats, Buddy took refuge in a forgotten underground military installation and raised his grandson in isolation from the horrors roaming the terrain above.

She turned to the heroes who would become the second incarnation of the Teen Titans and together they defeated Trigon, but Raven never found herself free from her father’s influence. After several encounters with Trigon, Raven allowed herself to be destroyed, although her "Soul Self" remained intact.

Biography:

Ted Knight invented the Cosmic Rod, which collects stellar energy and allows the bearer to fly and manipulate gravity. Taking the name Starman, he became a member of the Justice Society of America. Though The Mist was his greatest foe, Ted suffered most from his own guilt over helping to create the atomic bomb, leading to his ultimate retirement. Ted’s son Jack reluctantly took up the mantle and the Mist’s daughter, going by the same name, became Jack’s archenemy.

Biography:

In the latter half of the 30th century, an entity known as the Sun-Eater threatened to consume Earth’s sun, thus destroying the Solar System. Desperate to stop the Sun-Eater’s efforts, Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes recruited the aid of the Fatal Five. They discovered that Validus was among their ranks, but had no idea of his true parental heritage. The Fatal Five reluctantly agreed to help the Legion, and the Sun-Eater’s efforts were averted. Validus remained a loyal member of the Fatal Five, always ready to do Tharok’s bidding.
