Always an outsider, Remy LeBeau was shunned as a youth because of his strange, burning red eyes. Eventually, he realized he was a mutant – gifted with the ability to change inanimate objects with explosively released biokinetic energy. In Gambit’s hands, even the most benign implement becomes an exploding projectile. However, he most often relies on kinetically charged playing cards. Hank Pym started small. After shrinking his way to worldwide renown as the super-heroic Ant-Man, founding member of the mighty Avengers, he ascended to even greater glory in the guise of Giant-Man. Now, as Goliath, he continues to prove that size matters: His greatest asset is his big brain and knack for invention! Due to years of exposure to the size-altering properties of Pym Particles, Goliath can increase in stature at will and to a maximum height of 100 feet of shrink to the size of an ant. He grows by drawing additional mass from an extra-dimensional source, to which it returns when he reverts to normal. Goliath can shrink an entire laboratory or an array of firearms to the size of a microchip when not in use. The various compartments of his uniform straps contain a wide variety of miniaturized equipment.

When his family was killed in the crossfire of a Mafia shootout, Frank Castle put his military training to use – waging a one-man war on crime. A former U.S. Marine captain with a disgruntled combat record who has undergone SEAL (Sea Air Land), UDT (Underwater Demolition Team) and LRPA (Long Range Patrol) training, Frank Castle is well-versed in the arts of warfare and hand-to-hand combat. As the Punisher, Castle reinvented himself as the merciless scourge of the underworld. The mere mention of his name causes criminals everywhere to cringe in fear, because they all know the Punisher plays for keeps – and someday, he may come gunning for them!
Note: There were two variations: Black belt or Gray belt.
