Biography:

William Hand was sought out by the alien Atrocitus, who believed that Hand was the key to bringing about the foretold "Blackest Night" that would destroy his hated enemies, the Green Lantern Corps. When the prophecy came true, Hand was chosen to be the herald of the death-entity Nekron, becoming the central figure in the most dangerous crisis Green Lantern ever faced.

Biography:

One of the most respected officers of the Green Lantern Corps, Abin Sur fearlessly protected the planets of Space Sector 2814 for over a century. Tragically, he died when his spaceship crash landed on Earth. When the dreaded prophecy of the "Blackest Night" came true, Sur was resurrected as an evil Black Lantern, returning from the grave to plague both Hal Jordan and Sinestro.

Biography:

After Hal Jordan was possessed by the fear-entity Parallax and destroyed the Green Lantern Corps, Ganthet, the sole remaining Guardian of the Universe, chose Kyle Rayner to become the fourth human to wield an Oan power ring. Kyle helped to restore the Green Lantern Corps and purge the influence of Parallax from his fallen predecessor, earning him a place in the elite Green Lantern Corps’ Honor Guard.

Biography:

Before the Guardians of the Universe created the mighty Green Lantern Corps, they policed the galaxy with robots known as Manhunters. Lacking the judgement of living beings, the Manhunter Robots imposed peace with deadly force. Realizing they had made a mistake, the guardians decommissioned their Manhunters, but they continued carrying out their programming in spite of the Guardians’ attempts to shut them down.

Biography:

The son of an infamous galactic conqueror, Mongul is drived by a burning desire to surpass his father’s murderous achievements. Mongul broke into the Justice League Watchtower only to be turned back. Next, he used the hallucination-inducing Black Mercy plant against Green Lantern, but it could not overcome Green Lantern’s indomitable will. After that, Mongul’s main enemy became the Green Lantern Corps.

Biography:

Arkillo lived in Space Sector 674, the same sector as Green Lantern Kilowog, which may be the reason they look somewhat similar. He was also a powerful warrior on his planet and feared throughout the sector. A Qwardian ring came to him and recruited him into the Sinestro Corps. As one of Sinestro’s first members, he became the drill seargent for the Sinestro Corps, training the new recruits. He also oversees the Qwardian Weaponers crafting more rings for the Corps. He kills those who don’t work fast enough to make examples of them.
